Hello!
Before I talk, I would like to thank you guys SO MUCH for the responses in the "R13 in High school all state band" thread. I was brave enough to confront my teacher :P and ask her if I could buy another instrument other than an R13. As you guys said, she was very open about it and was perfectly fine with me choosing a different one as long as she tries it before I buy it.
Shout out to anyone who lives in Southern California! I was wondering what stores have a nice assortment of clarinets. So far, the only store I know that carries professional model clarinets is Bridgepoint Music. Does anyone know any other stores? I know there is a Yamaha Factory in Buena Park but my private teacher cannot drive so far. It takes roughly 6 hours from where we live.
PS: I use a Lyrique 576 if anyone is wondering. Although it's a fine instrument, keys are all tarnished and instrument always has something wrong with it once a week or so.
