 Need info on composer Max Brauer

I'm writing program notes for our upcoming chamber music concert and cannot find any information on the composer Max Brauer (Sextet for Winds & Piano in C minor Op.40).

Can anyone point me to a resource?

Max Brauer 1855-1918. Born in Mannheim, Germany, May 9, 1855; died in Karlsruhe, Dec. 2, 1918. Studied music at university in Cologne; known as a conductor; established a Bach Society in Karlsruhe in 1905. Composed vocal and chamber music, including Der Lotse and other operas.
