Hey guys and girls,
My bass clarinet is having a bit of a stuffy note (the 2 fingers down high a) and it has a weird ringing noise when i play the note. My instrument is a double register Kessler 2nd gen low c bass. I love everything about the instrument, just having a slight maladjustment on this note. The weird thing is ive had this issue on a few other bases ive played in the past which also had double register keys. Any advice is immensely appreciated.
Musically yours,
Lukas

If you are anywhere near Bensalem PA take it to hammer woodwinds.yhru set my Yamaha 622II well. You could also talk to Chuck Kessler he probably regulated it for you before it shipped out from Kessler and son.

You really need to have it tested by a knowledgeable tech to determine if it's a slight leak in a pad or a tone hole problem. Some things can't be analyzed without testing.
