You can probably buy the score though. Just determine if the score is all in the Key of C or transposed. Many of his scores are in concert pitch so you won't know what key the clarinet part is in.

You can't rent a single part, for sure.
Do you know a librarian in a professional orchestra who belongs to the Major Orchestra Librarian's Association? They (we) can usually get their hands on anything.

There used to be an excerpt book which was all Shostakovich (and entirely in Cyrillic!), but it is probably out of print. I picked it up in the 1970's, but a student borrowed it permanently.
