 Best book

There is a YCL 250 on the way my son bought for me. I played clarinet in the marching and concert bands in high school, a really long time (50+years ) ago. I've been playing a plastic Yamaha tenor recorder, but the tone just doesn't cut it. I know there is a plethora of clarinet info on the internet but I'm somewhat old school and would like to have a book including method and scales. Suggestions ? Thanks.

Get the Klose-Prescott First and Second Year at https://goo.gl/C7hn1P .

I would place this method book between that of the Rubank Advanced Method - Clarinet Vol. 1 (https://goo.gl/LJnOs8) and the Baermann Division 3 book (https://goo.gl/uj5ZTE). You can't go wrong with Baermann Book, but if you're returning to the clarinet, it might be intimidating from page 1.

Just an aspiring student.
