Hi, I recently recieved a wooden 2-part body LeBlanc Bass Clarinet with a serial # 14991 (there is a '33' engraved in the metal right below the hole for the octave key). In the lower register, and most of the time the lower clarion, is in tune. I encounter issues going past the high G. The notes are horridly flat, almost like a quarter tone. Are there suggestions to help fix this, or is it just my mouth adjusting to the new horn. I know for certain that the instrument had been sitting in some dry basement for over 10 years at least.
(I noticed a leak on the 1 and 1 Eb and Bb. The post holding up the rod has become disconnected from the body (near the mid joint), and it can be remedied by just pushing it back into place.)
