Hey everyone!
I was just wondering if there is any good music places (stores) that I should visit, while visiting Indiana. If there is, where are they located? Thanks for all the help!!

The Woodwind and Brasswind in Southbend. Don't miss it! I was able to try out numerous R-13 A clarinets there before I found the best one, "the sweetest clarinet ever made." They have just about everything you ever need and lots of it.
Have Fun.

In Bloomington, on the Indiana University campus is a store called "ProWinds." Although due to their small size they don't offer much of an instrument selection, they have great prices on a variety of accessories at cheap prices. Their reeds are the cheapest I've seen, and hopefully that is still so (as gas prices have driven them up lately). Down the street is a music store (TIS music) that is OK. But if you're down there, check out the music school, it's great. They have I THINK a couple hundred practice rooms, each with a piano. Their music hall is great, too, I've performed two concerts on it, and the acoustics are wonderful. I'm a little bit biased because that's where I want to go to college (I'm sure you couldn't tell). Anyways, the music store is good, and they hire people who know what they're talking about. If you're near Bloomington, check it out.

In Indianapolis, one of the best music stores is Paige's Music at 5282 E 65th St., Suite A. It is on the northeast side, just a couple of blocks off of Highway 37. I haven't checked out their selection of clarinets, but they are helpful and have a good repair department. And, just across the hall, there is a J. W. Pepper, if you are interested in sheet music.
