Is there much different in weight between the average wood and plastic clarinet? I was considering getting a neckstrap for my wood clarinet...it seems heavier. I don't have the proper
scale to weigh them. Thanks

My Yamaha YCL-20 plastic weighs 23 1/2 ounces, and both my Buffet R-13 and Leblanc LL weigh 26 oz. This is without the mouthpiece.

Plastic horns are generally lighter than wooden ones. The R-13 Greenline is also heavier than the standard R-13.
