Got an older Noblet 40 recently

Pretty decent shape. The s/n suggests 1976 for the year. I was playing some simple scales on it (I'm a novice player) and it plays easier and sounds better than what I'm used to. My wife is very tolerant of the squeaks and honks, but she said I was getting better after only a few minutes on this clarinet. So naturally I told her I was now ready to step up to a pro model. 😄

What clarinet did you have before this one?

Well, did have an old Buffet Albert clarinet that was hard for me to play. I sold that. But I also have an older Vito 7213 plastic. I wish I could sell that, but nobody seems to want it. It's in good playing condition, but after this Noblet I probably won't play it.
