 Can an Optimum Ligature fit on a CL5?

It doesn't seem like it would, but I want to know what you guys think.

I have a CL6 and it seemed to work just fine. Though that was years ago, but from what I remember yes it should work. However, the Master Optimum's are a different story. You need to buy the M version... supposedly.
