 Best Effer, Bang for Buck

What's y'alls opinion on the best effer on the market, quality vs price? Would love to find something in ebonite, but I haven't noticed one available on the market...perhaps rubber isn't suitable for the effer. Thoughts?

I have no experience with these at all, haven't even seen one in person. But it fits your bill of an ebonite eefer:

I originally saw them mentioned in this thread:

Uebel just came out with a new Eb clarinet. May be worth a look.

My bang for the buck setup is an older Buffet E-11 with a Clark Fobes extension, Robert Scott barrel and Dan Johnston mouthpiece.

Bang for the buck, the German made Buffet E11 Eb is a great horn. I did have one, won an audition with it. I did migrate to an R13 since, though now modified in many areas.

Here's a good one:

My bang for the buck is an older used Selmer Paris flat soprano. These instruments generally are of excellent quality, with a very solid upper register and good key work. They are very under appreciated in my opinion.

I sold an old Leblanc LL E flat from the late 1960s for about $1,000 US$ and have regretted it many times. Sold to a friend, who will NEVER sell it back!

The Selmer Series 9 eefer can be really great!

Picked up the wood body of my Jean De Blaye & Son eefer on that auction site for $18.50. Added an Esprit barrel and Bettony bell for peanuts and I have a wonderful little horn. I've seen other good deals, but you have to look.
