 Selmer Bass Clarinets

What is a good price for a used Selmer Model 32 low e-flat bass clarinet in excellent condition with no cracks and new kangaroo skin pads?

I sold one very similar to your description to an instrument broker for $1000, then he turned around and sold it for probably quite a bit more (his asking price was $2000 but I have no way of knowing if he actually got that much). Hope that helps.

What kind of shape is the case in? If it's an old smelly one, figure on spending at least $300-400 for a new 5 piece case. Maybe more for something nice.
