No screwdriver slot on Lafleur eefer
Author: clarimad

I've been attempting to dismantle this eefer in order to repad it but some of the rod screws do not have slots at either end. Any advice regarding removal?

If they have no screw slots, they're almost certainly a friction fit. Just push them out from one end or the other.

Ken, I've never seen one. Do they usually press fit into the rod or the posts? (Do they spin in the rods or the posts?). Do they come out only one way, top or bottom, or both ways?

I've reluctantly installed a couple of friction fit rod screws when the threads were stripped or the rod screw was missing. It could happen.
