I tried it out at NAMM. To me, it plays very similarly to their top-of-the-line model (i.e., great), just a bit less "dense" sounding when pushed. The intonation is excellent, and it has the pitch venting mechanism just like the MoBa; the keywork is smooth and quiet and isn't quite as out there with the special key shapes and everything. The adjusting mechanisms are really nice, I wish more clarinets had them! It doesn't have some of the really cutting-edge manufacture techniques like the custom post system or RH trill key coil springs, but you could change the barrel and bell of course if you like the feel of the MoBa barrel/bell instead of the Traditional. At $4820, it's $3775 less than the MoBa model...that's practically another whole clarinet...maybe there could be a Key of A Model F in the future?
I'm saving up for a MoBa, but it's going to be awhile. The A clarinet by itself costs more than both my current sets of instruments all together!
