Oehler barrel needed

I recently acquired a very nice Oehler Bb clarinet. It has responded very well to restoration and now looks gorgeous, but plays very flat even with the barrel pushed right in. German system clarinets are as rare as hens teeth here in Oz, so my chances of picking up a shorter barrel are somewhere between zero and nil. Ordinarily I'd just turn one up, but my lathe is currently awaiting parts which don't look like coming any time soon. The barrel that I have has the following dimensions:

Overall length 54mm.

Upper socket diameter 22.6mm, depth 17.6mm, upper bore 15.9mm.

Lower socket diameter 23.5mm, depth 22.6mm, lower bore 14.75mm.

Would any of you that have Oehler stuff in your junk box and have a spare barrel of approximately 52mm length with roughly these dimensions consider selling it to me? Obviously I'll pay any costs involved.

What mouthpiece are you using on it? If it's got a wide bore, then it will play flat compared to a narrow bore mouthpiece.

The standard barrel lengths for Oehlers is 54-56mm - I made a 59mm one for my Yamaha Oehler to help bring the pitch down using either the stock Yamaha German mouthpiece or an acrylic Wurlitzer one.

Just on spec I tried my B & H 1010 mouthpieces. I have a 5RV reworked by Ed Pillinger, a B & H 1010 number 2 lay and one that I reamed out myself from an old Selmer of unknown parentage. They all played pretty well in tune, the Pillinger was best. I also recalled that years back I picked up a very wide bore mouthpiece shorter than usual. I finally dug it out of the depths today and, surprise, it also plays well in tune. As its grooved for a string ligature I suspect that it may have once graced an instrument much like mine.
