Asking if anyone has any ideas...
I'm considering having a nice portable setup which will include a small extendable mic stand that collapses to about backpack size (found one already), and I'd like a clip on extension to put a zoom recorder on.
I'm considering using the threaded top of the mic stand to exchange between an ipad holder, and a regular sheet music holder to use it as a portable music stand.
Does anyone know of a sheet music holder that threads to the top of the mic stand?
Alternatively, I see a bunch of sheet music holders that clip onto the SIDE of the music stand (leaving the top free for an actual microphone). Has anyone used those? Do they get in the way or come up high enough to use at a gig if you DON'T need a recorder and just want a music stand?
I'm also considering just getting the clip on arm for the zoom recorder and attaching it to a REGULAR music stand.
Just throwing some spaghetti at the wall and seeing what could stick and be used for a variety of performances. Maybe someone has some good ideas.

PS - Ultimately, the goal is to carry around my clarinet in a buffet pouchette case, clarinet accessories (reeds, etc.) in another part of the backpack, and carry around some sheet music, my ipad, and a music stand/recorder setup. But ALL in one VERY stuffed backpack.

It might be simpler to mount the mike on your music stand. I use The Claw and a universal mike clip. Not perfect but convenient.
