 Viotto products to be continued

Yesterday, I received news from Bas de Jong, world wide distributor of Viotto mouthpieces, that plans are that the manufacturing of Mr. Viotto's products will be continued. However, it may take some time for the Viotto family and others involved to get things up and running again, after the unexpected decease of Mr. Viotto.

This is very good news to the clarinet world. The Viotto line of mouthpieces has gained an ever increasing group of enthousiastic users, both professional and amateur.

Good news, indeed! Long life to Viotto mouthpieces. It would have been a great pity to see them disappear.

I am loving them. Since I got my Viotto N1 I've bought a second one for spare, and there's no turning back for me!

My condolences regarding mr Viotto, it's a shame.

(I love the german sound and feel that the N1 was a big improvement in sound compared to my Vandoren B40D I played before it)

Edit: For clarification, I use the N1 on my french clarinets (Ridenour Libertas and A, and now my Uebel Superior Bb)

Regards
Peter

I highly recommend them. I can't remember what the Viotto Boehm clarinet mouthpieces are like, but the German ones work very well on a Boehm clarinet. They just take a little getting used to.
