Kudos to Clark Fobes Customer Service

I, like many on this board, have dealt with Clark Fobes over the years and always found him to be a master craftsman and a source of valuable advice as well.

However, today I thought I would commend him for his outstanding customer service.

The other day, I wanted to try the Peter Leuthner reeds and inadvertently ordered 2 boxes of the same strength instead of adjacent strengths. On receipt of the reeds I found them to be too hard and emailed Clark to see if I could exchange the unopened box. He responded to my email within minutes (!) saying, sure send the other box back and he'd exchange it for the right one. During several email exchanges he confirmed that the exchanged box would be the right one for my Fobes Europa 4 (BTW an excellent choice for those considering a VD BD5!)

Within a hour of emailing him that I'd sent the box of reeds back, I got an (automated) email saying that my replacement reeds were being shipped.

They just arrived, exactly when he said they would.

Thanks and kudos to Clark for such outstanding customer service!
