 Help Identifying Barrel
Author: MusicalMoon

I recently came across a clarinet barrel with a logo similar to the Buffet logo which says "Evette & Schaeffer / Paris France / Modele Buffet-Crampon" and of course, being a typical clarinet player, I snatched it up to try on my horn. Unfortunately the diameter of the joints of every clarinet I've tried to put this barrel on are just too big. This barrel doesn't fit on any instrument! Does anyone have any idea what this is for? Perhaps old Evette & Schaeffer clarinets had a very unique bore? I'd like to know! Any help would be greatly appreciated.
