Yet another new offering for, well, ligature nuts with disposable funds. Possibly an unfortunate marketing decision to label one of the interchangeable objects "BS." Hard to see why Dawkes refers to them as "screws," while their representative correctly identifies them as "nuts." It isn't as if one were less susceptible of double meaning than the other. I'd guess that the Silversteins had something to do with inspiring these.

Hmmm. Looks like they blended the reed contact point of an Francois Louis (but with I guess different size nuts/screws to attach under the plate), but maybe made the part that contacts the body of the mouthpiece a little more flexible instead of just metal bars connected by metal........I like the idea of it. I don't like the price, but I do like the idea.
I'm a fan of the francois louis ligature, but find putting a reed on just a bit too much of a pain to line it up right and get that plate just right over where I want it. I probably won't try this ligature out, but I AM looking for something new. Problem is what I want, no one has designed.
