 Uebel Emperior bass

My new Uebel bass arrived yesterday. OMG what a nice horn! Highly recommended for anyone in the market for a mid-price range bass.

Thanks, Chris for turning me onto Josh Johnson's review. And thanks Josh for answering a ton of questions. He's a font of information about many different horns and brands. Message him via facebook and he'll be happy to answer any questions. He plays most woodwinds and loves talking to folks about music.

Excellent! I thoroughly believe if you want a pro level low C bass at a price better than the other big names, definitely try to stretch to getting an Uebel rather than an Amati low C bas as the Uebel is infinitely a better instrument and can hold its own against the more expensive ones.
