Is this the same "Hymn to the Sun" by Mesomedes of Crete (130 A.D.) in arr. by Alan Hacker. Apparently it's supposed to be played on a Klarino in a Greek folk style. Am I with you?
Where did you dig this one up?

Well this is written by N Rimsky Korsakov and I believe it's an excerpt from "Le Coq D'or" Beats me lOl.hope this helps ya. I got it from the book Ditson Treasury of Clarinet Solos. Published by Oliver Ditson Comp. and it's been transcribed by John Geanacos. Has great intermediate pieces and some of them look awfully difficult let me tell ya lOl. all the judges ask me where i get my pieces from and i just tell them an old dusty book lOl. peaceaziness ya all
