Hello,
I have a good mouthpiece that I would like to use, but the railing is uneven between the two sides and is causing issues. I was wondering if anyone knows enough about mouthpieces to fix the railing or to direct me to a guide in which I can figure it out.
I know it takes practice but I would really like to use this mouthpiece.

Send it to me. Email me a pic if you can, nothing fancy. If it's just a minor refacing issue the charge may be little to nothing, postage is usually about $4. Some guys charge 100's of dollars and often it's well worth it, but most likely the results will be identical to my work, maybe better.

I made about 50 YouTube videos on various aspects of mouthpiece repairs and refacing. Most are sax but the concepts are the same. I have some bass clarinet videos.
I typically charge $75 for a clarinet refacing.

Bob does fine work. He helped me with a clarinet I gave away to an elementary student in my church. That old clarinet played great when he finished. And it was all done gratis. Bob is a genuinely upstanding guy.

Thank you Pastor Bob. I try to help everyone I can. I try to NOT make money, but to make clarinet playing FUN! Sounds weird, but I really don't need money anymore.
