Hi. I'm doing a diploma on my clarinet soon. To do this I have to give a 40 minute recital - the 5 Finzi bagatelles, the Weber Concerto no 1 and the Poulenc sonata - and be able to talk to my examiner about the composer and the pieces in detail.
If you can help I'd be really grateful.

What sort of help do you want? A general request is too fuzzy to say much about, other than fuzzy generalities.
There are excellent recordings of all the pieces. You should listen to as many as you can, concentrating on players of the same nationality as the composers -- English for the Finzi, German for the Weber and French for the Poulenc. There really are national styles of composing, and these three pieces have strong national character. The same goes for the players. English, German and French players no longer have an unmistakable national tone, as they did 75 years ago, but I've been unsatisfied by, say, German players' versions of the Poulenc.
The Poulenc has difficult spots technically. When you get into a technical jam, go to your teacher or come here and people can give you specific advice about a specific problem.
You really have to be three different players to do these pieces right. When you've gotten them under your fingers and listened to recordings to find out how they go, once again go to your teacher and come here to talk about how to give each piece its own character.
Go home and practice. They're all wonderful music, and the more you work on them the better they get.
