Does anyone have a copy of the Bach Six Cello Suites that they wouldn't mind sharing one or 2 via pdf? I ordered them, but was sent the violin suites. THank you! Please let me know as I have to wait 10-12 days to receive my copy and wanted to check them out sooner. If you can pdf would be great and I can share something that you need with you?

Respectfully -- that's not what you asked for. Is the Alphonse LeDuc public domain?

Huh. Used to have some of my students play 1, 2 and 5 from the Bärenreiter urtext edition, transposing up a 9th. The reason to play Bach on the clarinet is the music, not anything particular to the clarinet. They'd complain at first, but it didn't turn out to be that hard, and there's a lot of value in coming to grips with the real thing. To really play them, you have to almost memorize them anyway. Wouldn't really trust anyone to pre-digest Bach for me.

Gary van Cott has a couple of versions plus one for English horn that works well on clarinet.
