Does anyone know where I can get clean clarinet parts to Benjamin Britten's "Young Persons Guide to the Orchestra"?
Once again some juvenile has clotted up the parts so they cannot be read.

It's published by Boosey but is still rental, so getting a clean part may be an issue if you want to stay legal. I'm sure you've already looked and found that neither Kalmus nor Luck's has reprinted it yet (since it's still protected) If you're near a university with an orchestra, they might have a set of parts with clarinet parts that are cleaner than what you have. If so they might allow you to come in and Xerox them. Or a local symphony orchestra. I know that's not much help.
Another alternative that's a pain in the neck would be to scan the worst parts into a graphic editor and clean out the garbage electronically. Even MS Paint will do. Then print out the cleaned version. It might be worth the effort if the part you have is marked up enough to be unreadable through the markings. I assume they're not easily erasable.

One other possibility - a stretch - is to get a readily available study score, scan it into a pdf and run the pdf through http://partifi.org to extract the clarinet part. It'll be tough with the tiny print in the study score.

Karl's idea is probably the most workable.
I gotta get through this thing, but having every last accidental and fingering marked, and especially the unprofessional comments, all make me want to barf.
Teachers: your students need to respect sheet music. In order to become musicians, they will actually have to learn scales and fingerings, so that they won't have to scribble all over each ever-loving piece they play.

Get a copy of it in a mini score booklet and type out the Clarinet parts using Finale Print Music or some such. That's how I'd do it. Note that you can use it for private study at home but you would not be allowed to have this on the music stand at a performance.
