I have tried Rigotti Gold and I can say those are well made reeds. I used their cane tubes for my reeds for a while and their material is good, although a bit softer than average. I would say you can't go wrong with their products.

I occasionally use Rigotti Gold and/or Regal Queen (same reed as far as I can tell) on bass clarinet; for that instrument I find them to be generally too thin throughout. Nice cane, but even in #5 strengths I have to clip the tips and extend the vamp to get enough wood in the heart (spine). Basically I have to re-cut the reed to make it work for me. Might as well make my own from blanks, right?
But if you normally play softer reeds, they'd probably work fine, I'd suggest getting them a full strength harder than the Vandoren or equivalent you use.

David,
I you are thinking of making your own reeds from Rigotti cane, I suggest you to make a thicker design. The material responds well, so a thicker heart is benefitial.
