I just got one a couple of weeks ago. Mine is K3694. I have also asked and not much seems to be known. Mine has the older logo but is otherwise like yours with the "enhanced" Boehm fingering. Yours has the triangular import stamp. I hope yours plays as well as mine does! Congrats!

I don't think we're exactly millionaires, but I would hope it is worth more than I paid, which was $150. I took a gamble that it would be decent, or at least fixable, as I bought it off the internet. It plays great and all pads and corks are good. I think I was lucky. Maybe someone with more knowledge of such things could contribute a value. I can't.

It is a "full Boehm" clarinet and probably plays great. It should be worth a lot more than $150. Chris P probably could comment.

Oops! My bad. I can't count to 5, I guess. Mine is not full Boehm. Now I'm jealous! (But still happy with mine!)

$150 is an absolute steal for a used Selmer, even more so with it being a full Boehm!
I'm not all that familiar with K series Selmers as I tend to gravitate towards late BT, CT and Series 9. I do have an oval logo full Boehm but someone at some point in the past has sleeved the top end of the top joint bore and the keywork has been butchered.

Hello! I'm thinking you have a possibility of a good clarinet there! "Brevete" is French for "Patented" so, not really a model. Looks pretty solid!

I've been offered $1200 for the clarinet. I would like to get some opinions on what this is worth if anyone knows. I realize it is all subjective... but does anyone besides bbrandha who stole one for $150 have any thoughts?

The best I can tell you is to check sold and completed listings on ebay. Keep an eye out for new ones, too. I have found so very little that it may not help you much, either.

I think $1200 is a good price.

Thank Chris P and bbrandha! But Chris... the good price thing... good price for the buyer or the seller... or both?

For both buyer and seller I reckon. I think that's fair.
A while back I put my Leblanc LL full Boehm up for sale on eBay and I had people really taking the urine when they said they're doing me a favour by offering to take it off my hands for as little as £400. I sold it to a former colleague recently for the £1500 I was asking for and she's dead pleased with it as she wanted to upgrade from her Noblet (and chose it over a Selmer Series 9 I also sent her to try out) - she's also a woodwind repairer so if there was a problem she'd have spotted it.
The biggest problem selling Selmers or Leblancs is they don't command the same sort of money as Buffets which is what you're up against. But some of us out there like older Selmers. See the attachment as that's my main clarinet which I bought for a very low price as it was a mess and no-one else was prepared to bid on it. But with some TLC it scrubbed up very well indeed (I had all the keywork and other fittings silver plated) and is perhaps the best clarinet I own.

That clarinet is beautiful. I also have a Buffet Crampon that needs love... see pics.
