I've been all over the internet searching for a reed case that holds over 12 reeds. Preferably in the 15 reeds and up range. I know that they do exist because of a visiting professor talking about his that held about 25 reeds, but I simply cannot find anything of that sort anywhere. Does anyone have any suggestions on where I could find a reed case of this sort?

Roger Garrett says that his clarinet reed cases will accomodate up to 14 reeds.

ORder a case that holds ten "alto sax" or "tenor sax" reeds. Not one with individual holders, but a glass plate one. You'll be able to squeeze more clarinet reeds on there.

I purchased a Roger Garrett case in December and I love it. It looks great, has held up really well, and holds lots of reeds. (I'm holding 13 now and could probably fit 1-2 more.) He might do custom cases too, so you could at least ask about a case that can hold even more.
(I was going to attach pics of the case, but apparently the files are too big and I can't size them down on my phone. Will attach later.)

In this case (no pun intended), stop thinking along the lines of music accessories.
When the words "music" or "marine" ever appear in front of accessories, the price triples.
Next trip for you into Boston, stop by the Container Store in Natick

pick up a plastic case (they have 1000 sizes) withyour spare change.
I have a one that's translucent that I put cardboard down the middle as a divider. I scotch taped 2 humidity packs to the inside lid..holds 20+ reeds that I keep in the original Vandoren cases they're sold in.

The problem with this case Alexi, I say cynically, and both with half truth, and half fiction, is that it DOESN'T offer enough features, and ISN'T expensive enough. (This is not a dig at you--as you too realize it's relative expense.)
I'm not quite joking. Develop something that plugs in, to provide the electric to "uncrack" water (or charge a battery to due same), charge $550, and people will buy it.
"Cracking" water (molecularly speaking) is what submarines do to create oxygen to breath. So "uncracking" it would involve combining O2 and Hydrogen--no doubt stored in mini presurized cylinders on board the device.
("In the news today, another reed hydration system exploded," taking with it 7 out of tune clarinet players. Sources close to friends of the players cite jubilation among the crowd given the cessation of car horn like dissonant play, despite the loss of their friends.)

The Selmer clarinet/alto sax reed case will easily fit 12 clarinet reeds.

It's not cheap enough for people to snap up, and not expensive enough with enough bells and whistles to cater to the ones who want "the best".
In any event, with recent posts on case humidifiers, reed cases, and whatnot, I'm in the mood to reinvent my current systems. I have some great ideas from some pros on youtube and will simply be using cheap affordable reed and clarinet cases, and boveda humidipaks.
Oh. And ziplock backs for those reeds and humidipaks. I could buy a fancy case if I want, but realistically, I don't give a crap (can I say that here?) how fancy of a case I pull out of my backpack? I just want to play some music!

I had a roger Garrett case years and years ago. After a long period of abuse (a few years) something went wrong. Maybe hinges. I can't remember. But it was definitely dropped many times and tossed into backpacks. I was not careful with it.
I remember it being a beautiful case (can't remember what wood I chose) and it makes a fantastic gift as it can be personalized! I don't see why a trophy shop can't attach a small saying as you might to a plaque or trophy on the Reed case and make it even nicer of a gift!

I have my old Selmer flat reed case and it still works fine for me. I also have a ProTec reed case. It holds 12 reeds nicely and it isn't expensive. You could get two of those and have 24 reeds covered.
