I Just received a call from Groth Music here in Bloomington, saying that the E-Flat Clarinet Orchestral Excerpt book (Hadcock) I recently bought had several errors in it. Therefore, they were holding a replacement for me! ☺
I know the full parts are now easily available, but I applaud Roncorp for doing this. Also wondering if LeBlanc and International will do the same for the errors in their excerpt books, which are now famous? Doubt it.
If anyone has the new Hadcock book (came out in November of 2015) and does not receive a call from Groth, I would suggest calling them.

Chances are that the errors in the International Music Company excerpt books and the Bonade Orchestral Studies excerpt book will never be corrected. With the popularity of IMSLP and the Orchestra Musician CD-ROM series, the once standard excerpt books are now almost obsolete.
Most pieces that are public domain are readily available on IMSLP.
Tom Kmiecik and I compiled a list of all the corrections for International Books 1 and 2, as well as the Bonade Orchestral Studies. It's worthwhile, just to make the corrections in your own personal copies.

How recently had you purchased the book from them? I bought mine a few years ago, and am wondering if it's only a newer edition of the book that might have errors. I guess I'll check with my friends who work there...

In the same vein... how about "The Working clarinetist" by Hadcock? Is that book good to go or are there known errors in there?

I'd like to know the answer to "The Working Clarinetist" by Hadcock also. Just bought that one AND the Eb version, my Christmas present to myself!
