Earlier in the year here in Greensboro we had an Event called the Paris Promenade.
There was a young Violinist that was playing a bunch of nice Popular Standards, mainly pieces from the 40's.50's and 60's.
She was sight reading the Tunes from her tablet, which she had mounted on a music stand.
I asked here where the written tunes were from. She was playing one piece right after another I believe she said Spotify.
I thought Spotify just played the actual Tunes, but was not aware that they had written music as well
Could anyone clarify this?
Thanks!

I've never heard of spotify doing this, unless she found the instrumental tracks from songs, and played the melody over that? I could see Spotify having that in its library.
For music, she could have easily gotten a book and scanned them (or gotten a scanned copy of the book from somewhere online).
