I'm playing Sophr 4 in February and I need the parts for the orchestra. Could someone point me in the right direction as to where I get them from? Google isn't being so helpful. Also I've noticed in various recordings that the accompaniment is arranged differently. I prefer the version that Sabine Meyer uses in her killer recording of the concerto.

The Clarinet Institute has it on disc, with the orchestra parts. $15 or so and you get about another 100 pieces, not just this piece.

I may be doing a concert with them in a few weeks or less. Great people.
Work hard, this is a difficult piece, but lots of fun!
Edit - I was wrong, it's for clarinet and piano. However they do have a lot of pieces for clarinet and orchestra, for others to take a look at. Sorry for the misinformation.

i just head back from Schirmer.... Almost $600 to rent the part for one performance. There has to be a copy of the parts out there somewhere. I cannot be forced to do Mozart again! Help!!

Publishing companies can be bargained with. If you are performing with a community or school orchestra, let them know that information. I bet you could get the rental fee down to about $250.
If you are performing with a professional orchestra (especially tier 3 or higher), then you are out of luck.

Again, the OP needs orchestral materials. They are only available as a rental through G. Schirmer, acting as an agent for Breitkopf (who are in turn acting as an agent for Henle).
The only other solution would be to somehow find a score and extract the parts yourself, which may not be entirely legal if you use an edition that is still copyright protected.
You know, I played this with Richard Stoltzman about 30 years ago (there are two orchestral clarinet parts), which is most likely before the Breitkopf edition was published. Perhaps he owns a set he could lend to you.

You could also reverse-engineer an orchestral score from the piano reduction, it's usually pretty evident which parts go to which instruments, at least for the strings. That could be why the accompaniment sounds different on different recordings
