I saw the post below about Gabriel's Oboe and it reminded me that I am supposed to look for that music for my oboe playing daughter. Does anyone know where I can get it (Publisher?) and who the composer is?
Also I am looking for some trumpet/clarinet duets. Has anyone heard of such a thing? I would be bery happy to find a couple if anyone has some or knows of some.
Thanks

Check here under the Composition sectiion for specific clarinet/trumpet duets; however, I've played duets "out of the book" with one of my sons. We just use a regular clarinet duet book and play, just making sure the range for one of the clarinets is within the playable range of the trumpet.

Mom -
Mozart dashed off about a dozen duos for 2 horns one afternoon. The 2nd parts of some of them are low enough for trumpet players to be comfortable. I recently played a couple of them with my 14 year old nephew, who plays trumpet, and they went very well.
Best regards.
