One of the things I would like to do is hear how I sound on the clarinet to others - it always sounds great to me. Can I record and playback with the "MusicMatch Jukebox" thing on my computer? Has anyone tried playing duets with themselves? What sort of software/hardware should I get?
Right now I'm sitting at my 'puter and there is a microphone of some sort as well as a "QuickCam" sitting on top. If the camera is on, one of my children will die today....

It was not on, so I can tell the story...
My son set up the computer with the camera - no pictures are allowed of me, especially at the crack of dawn.
It's almost midnight - all my kids are alive, even the bird.

My son has used the little mike plugged into the soundcard and the Windows sound recorder to create .wav recordings which he has both played along with and e-mailed to a young lady he met at a band camp. Caution, .wav files get large rather fast.
