Saw it on their Twitter feed. Basically, the popularity of the signature reed has caused them to choose to discontinue the Quebec and Ontario lines for clarinet.
Can't fault them, business is business, but it makes me sad. I JUST got a fantastic combination working over the past few months with the Quebec 3.75 and Walter grabner mouthpieces. And I prefer the Quebec overall as it seems to have a slightly thinner tip than the signature and makes articulation a little easier.
Sigh. Back to the drawing board. Having moderately good success with signature 3.5 and the Rico reserve (D'Dario?) mouthpiece X0. But I'm gonna miss those Quebec reeds. Just seemed right to me.

Well that cinches it for me. The Legere is dead to me. The Quebecs could work in a pinch because they have more center to their sound and get the least smushy after a week or so of use.
If Legere wants to be serious, they better beef up the Signature for the American market.
The German Legeres are a different story. With German clarinets, they seem to work just fine.

I loved the Quebec Cut, as well. The Signature just is stuffy for me.

Thats funny because the Signature is perfect for me and works very well with my Grabner mouthpiece. Go figure.

Say it ain't so! I thought I'd reached clarinet nirvana with a Quebec 3¾ and a V. Krass K5. But I had a suspicion that something like this might happen.

Yes, according to their website, http://www.legere.com/clarinet-reeds Legere is ending production for the Quebec and the Ontario on November 15, 2015.
I took a quick look at that auction site for strength 3.75 and found 4 companies still offering this strength.
Time to stock up?

That sucks swamp water!
Had good luck with Quebec and very good luck with Classic. Can't get Signatures to work well enough on anything ... bright and seems on edge of not vibrating (about to fall off cliff), just funny playing experience, IMHO. Sorry, Legere!
No matter, now playing mostly Vandoren 56s ... better in every respect except life span ... I love them, and they seem to require less balancing than other reeds ...

I have not yet played a Legere that has worked for me. Maybe I missed out.
If I were in your shoes, I would just go online and buy up every one I could find.

Interesting that nobody mentioned the Ontario. Sherman Friedland had nice things to say about them seven years ago, so I ordered one. It was nothing special, although it might work well with some mouthpieces.

Crisis averted.
Walter Grabner wins again. Instead of the K14 and Quebecs, the K11* and signature 3.5 wins. It took about a week to get used to the different reed, but yesterday and the day before it clicked and I felt just awesome playing it.
Thanks again Walt! Got more orders coming your way for more mouthpieces!!!

That's so often the case. We tend to get attached to our personal setups and are impatient when trying new mouthpieces, reeds, instruments. "It doesn't feel right!" But put some time into it and very often the combination comes alive. I bought a bunch of 3¾ Quebecs from WWBW but when they go I trust I'll be able to find something else.

And interestingly, I couldn't stand the Ontario or Quebec reeds; the Signature 3 3/4 worked perfectly for me and my setup! Buffet R13 with M13lyre mouthpiece.
To each his/her own I guess!
