Hi all,
I have not been on for a while as have been busy studying woodwind repair Some time ago I wrote about a very odd unibody clarinet I have, this is the Boosey & Hawkes "Majestic" Bb unibody, plateau and almost sax fingering clarinet.
Well, recently since returning home, I was searching for a saxophone name and I came across the logo and name of the "Majestic" it seems that it was supplied by Eugen Schuster, the saxophones have the identical marking within a triangle. Problem is that I read somewhere that Schuster had the clarinets made for them in the first place.
Can anybody confirm this please? At present I am thinking that if this is the case, then the Boosey Majestic is a stencil of a stencil maybe, and then this makes it even more difficult to identify.

Langwills shows Majestic as a trade name used by R. Wurlitzer.

Thank you Tony,
I wonder if Wurlitzer made clarinets for Schuster, or indeed I if Boosey had some relationship with them directly?
The stamp Majestic on the Boosey is identical to the one that Schuster, like this: http://bassic-sax.info/version5/wp-content/uploads/2014/01/Left-Pinkie-Cluster1.jpg
I shall have to look at some Wurlitzers and see if this helps.
