Does anyone know the years of production for the 7, or VII, model? I understand that all the rosewood used to manufacture these was destroyed in a fire in France.

Any information please as there is so very little to be found on the internet.

Found this excerpt in Vol 34 of The Clarinet:

"Leblanc, in fact, has continued to issue new models of "Symphonie" clarinets. The latest version, the "Symphonie VII," was advertised from 1997 through 2002."

The fire was Feb 13 2003.

75% of the employees were back in Apr 1 2003:

Difficult to tell how hard Leblanc was hit by the fire as a company. The machinery was not damaged according to the first link.
