Both sound really good. I prefer the sound of the Bflat but the A sounded wonderful as well.

Nice playing!
I prefer the sound of the Selmer to the sound you're getting on the Yamaha in the Beethoven, but I prefer the sound of the Yamaha on the Mendelssohn by far to it on the Beethoven.
Something to me sounds a little pinched in the Beethoven. The Mendelssohn requires such clear precision and the Yammy seems to be working for you there.
Why not try recording all of the excerpts on both clarinets (I know the Mozart and the Kodaly are for A and the Mendelssohn and Beethoven are for Bb)??? Then you might have a clearer picture about what they can do for you.

Bravo!!!
Both very good. I am impressed that you play that combination of horns. I find the Signature a bit odd in the chalumeau (when I play it.....not you), it wants to pinch off when playing softer. Of course I love the sound and response of the CSG (my personal horns). I think it gives you a bit more focus, but that's splitting hairs.

To me you sound nice on both horns. Your Mozart was mostly very good. Your Kodaly needs a lot of work. Beethoven is good except the huge swell on that last trill... too much for my taste. The Mendelssohn was excellent.
Trills. Work to get them more graceful so they don't pop out of context. This was evident in the Mendelssohn... make them part of the line. Also work on a clean exit from the trills without stumbling.
My favorite by far was your Mozart. You have some really nice musical ideas there and really nice pacing.
Pick a clarinet and play. In the end it really doesn't matter if it's a Selmer or Yamaha.

Very nice playing particularly for a uni freshman. You blew away my level at that time (probably now still) by a great margin.
I'm in a similar situation as you as in a more traditional sounding horn (R13) A and a Yammy Bb. From your recording you definitely showed more flexibility with your A in terms of dynamic range and tone colour change. However your Bb horn sounds just as phenomenal for its clarity and focus.
