Unless you have some deep gouges or scratches, what you see may be OK.

Soak your MP, beak down, in a small glass of warm, soapy water, taking care to keep the cork out of the water. Rise and gently dry. Don't use a brush or run a swap through it. Should loosen and remove all but stubborn deposits.

Normally you will see some scratched or sandpapered look to the inside of most MPs. This is due to the final hand finishing using files and other abrasive materials. As a matter of fact, some makers actually brush the entire inside to texture the surface, the idea that it offers a better blowing characteristics.
