Does anyone know of a source for a transcription from bass clef in A to treble (ideally in Bb) of the bass clarinet part to the Prelude and Love Death from Tristan? We're doing a one-time *reading* next Friday and the bass clarinetist I've asked to play is not comfortable with bass clarinet in A, much less combining it with bass clef.
I can do a quickie in Finale - probably so can he, but this is completely recreational - there's no performance and no pay involved - so I'm looking to make life a little easier on short notice.
TIA for any help.

Good thing you're not reading the entire opera. :-) Sorry I can't help. I learned to read bass clef and transpose as a student in college when I decided to learn the bass clarinet. Same as D clarinet parts on the Eb clarinet and of course C parts on a Bb clarinet.

Well, the last time I played that part - a long time ago - I used the original. But the player on the part for this session isn't comfortable with it.

There is a transposed part online. There's a site called jtownpublications.com that sells it for 10 bucks but I'm pretty sure I've seen it somewhere for free.

Lucks Music has this

Their transposed part is only $2.50.

Jack, thanks for the link. Davyd, thanks checking at Lucks. I had checked at Kalmus and not found one. Between Lucks and Kalmus I so rarely find anything at one that isn't at the other that I just didn't look at Lucks.
In the end, I took an hour and made parts in Finale for both excerpts using the IMSLP pdfs as sources. Until I really looked at the IMSLP parts (which are the complete opera) I hadn't remembered how short the two sections are nor how un-busy they are note-wise for bass clarinet. Turned out to be an easy transcription to do.
Thanks, again.
