Hi Silversorcerer,
in the history are a lot of clarinet-maker, who made clarinets with closed keys, from Amati over Noblet to Selmer and much more. You can see in the foto in the question a clarinet with a mixed fingering-system Böhm/Albert. Exist this system with open/ring keys?
