I attended a Chamberfest Cleveland concert, "FRANK!" at CIM last night. It seemed like a welcome to retirement part. A full house of 500 gave Mr. Cohen 3 standing ovations. Quite an event. I was disappointed that the reception at the Natural History Museum was sold out.

He played a piece byReich for amplified clarinet and tape. It was accompanied with a slide presentation. Second piece: Brahm's quintet. After intermission: Mozart Concerto with a star studded orchestra.

I heard him play the Mozart Clarinet Quintet a few years ago at an ICA convention and his playing in the second movement was so beautiful , it brought tears to my eyes.
