 Evette in other keys?

I was wondering if Buffet made any Evette "Master Model" clarinets in other keys than the Bb. Because the Bb were R-13 with cosmetic flaws I would be interested in an purchasing one in other keys. How about Eb or C or A? I would think if Buffet had cosmetic flaws in the Bb line they would have cosmetic flaws in these keys as well. Did they make them?

Interesting question, Joe. I haven't seen any "Master Model" Eb's or A's, but that doesn't mean the aren't out there or weren't manufactured.

I don't know about Master Models but Buffet has made plain Evettes in A. Last year a matched set of nearly mint condition A & Bb Evettes from the late '50s or early '60s sold on Ebay.

There are now Buffet/Evettes in the WW&BW catalog in the key of C.
