Does any1 use the free tuner AP Instrument tuner?

It is called AP Instrument Tuner and it is free at http://www.audio-phonics.com I downloaded it and I like it a lot but I am having a very strange problem. The program lets you set the tuner to the key of your instrument. So, I set it to Bb. So far so good. I play a middle C and it shows the note C3 (3 being the octave) There is a meter that shows whether you are sharp or flat. Anyway, I go to the next note up, D, and it shows that I am playing a Bb, I go one more note up (E) and it shows that I am playing G#. Now here is what is weird about it. If you use the major scale formula WWHWWWH you get C D E F G A B C (C major). BUT this machine is doing the scale BACKWARDS! If you go down from C using WWHWWWH you get C Bb G# etc. (Notice it is not the C scale in reserve but it is using the major scale formula going left to right)

So, as I go up the scale, the machine displays the note names going BACKWARDS using the same WWHWWWH sequence. For the life of my I can not figure out why it is doing this. I have written to the company but haven't gotten a response back yet. Does anyone use this program and if you do, have you had this problem?

Sounds completely like a programming problem, and a stupid one at that - i.e. they didn't ask a musician for details when they were programming it!

Keep asking them, they'll reply to you just to stop the annoying emails.

Good luck

Sounds like the old "you get what you pay for " thing.
Oh well.

Believe it or not, I really like how the thing works! I just have to memorize me new note names :) For some reason it likes the C's. It gets C correct no matter what octave I play. I tried putting the thing in different keys just to see what would happen but needless to say, it didn't work. I hope the company answers me back but if not, I will just make do.
