What difference does the Series 13 mouthpiece make other than slightly changing the pitch? Are there any other characteristic differences between the two models? Thinking of trying the VD Black Diamond mpc.

I decided recently to buy a copy of my Masters CL4 in the (hard to find) 13 Series to see what difference there may be. My result was that it ONLY affected the pitch. I say that even though it played slightly easier because another poster experienced an opposite affect and I would attribute that to unintentional variability of facings.

To my surprise it did NOT seem to affect the pitch of the short tube notes (to any degree more or less) versus the longer tube notes any differently than the higher mouthpiece. THAT was my biggest concern.
