If I am not mistaken, I believe Mozart wrote a piece for Oboe, Clarinet, Horn, Bassoon and Orchestra. The catalog listing is K297B. Hope this helps your search.

Euh Tony - "CLARINET Quartet", not "WIND Quintet"
Sorry, but it did seem a bit pointless.
Try searching the net, Karel.
DLE.

if all else fails, you could take a wind quartet and transpose to Bb. A group of friends and I took a Haydn quartet piece and turned it into something for a clarinet, flute, trumpet, and trombone. If you fool around with transpositions on a few pieces, who knows.. maybe you'll find something you like.

as long as that isn't illegal or anything.

The music of Haydn and all of the masters before the 20th century is in the public domain, but an edited edition might well carry a copyright.

The chances of the edits being copyrightable are slim; see http://www.sneezy.org/clarinet/Misc/46DLJ241.html.

However many of them do have copyright notices as the copyright office merely issues the requested registration without checking for eligibility. The burden of proof then lies on the user that the item wasn't really eligible for the copyright.
