The Clarinet BBoard

Hey all,
I played Bb clarinet for about 10 years, and since dropping out of my performance degree I picked up the AKAI EWI. It's great to have access to so many different sounds, and I feel like I can play for hours on end -- embouchure permitting.
I recently stumbled upon this video. It's a fellow using a sample-based plug-in that can be controlled via MIDI controller (in this case an EWI), and though he won't be winning any solo competitions, it's enjoyable nonetheless.
While this isn't a "clarinet" post, it's interesting to see how far technology has come in producing the sounds of acoustic instruments -- not that they've been able to produce the kind of nuances a real instrument can (yet).

I'd be curious to know how well the artist plays a standard clarinet. I suspect the answer to that question might be "reasonable well," as deduced from things like his controlled trills, that I suspect are hard to have the electronics compensate for (or am I wrong and should just shut my clarinet case for good and get one of these.)

Raff..how, using this bboard's phorum software, did you get the word "video" to appear above, but have it connect to a url whose address was spelled differently than the word "video."
In other words I know how to do this:
http://test.woodwind.org/oboe/BBoard/list.html?f=1
That's done as the following, without the spaces between the "l" (ell) and the closing square bracket as follows:
http://test.woodwind.org/oboe/BBoard/list.html?f=1
But how could I get the word, say "Clarinet" to be underlined, and take me to this immediately above mentioned link to this "The Clarinet Bboard" site?
I could not find the answer on the bboard's help or internet forums on the Phorum software itself. Maybe I missed it.
Thanks.

Is this the future of the clarinet and clarinet playing?

Sounds like an amalgam of clarinet, oboe and soprano sax sounds.
Not to my liking at all - too bright and makes me flinch on certain notes and when the vibrato kicks in.

The opinions I express are my own.

Chris, the tone is definitely not to my personal liking. I feel like the clarinetist that they sampled was a European clarinetist, or playing on an Oehler Clarinet. I also don't like his vibrato, but to each his own.
Dave, I wrote it like this: {URL=insert.link.here}word{/URL}. Replace the {} with [] and it'll show like this: word
