"Gautrot Aine Brevete" Clarinet

Hi! I have, by chance, an early "Gautrot Aine Brevete" clarinet in perfect condition. Plays flawlessly. Any idea where I can promote or list it, any collectors' pages or references. Thanks and regards!

Reference to Langwill shows that the mark Gautrot Aine was in use between 1851-53, and indicated their 2nd class instruments. Their 1st class instruments were marked Gautrot-Marquet. The firm continued until 1884, when they became part of Couesnon. I think it may be assumed that the Gautrot Aine range were equivalent to student-level instruments. Gautrot mostly made brass instruments. Yours looks to be in nice condition. It's probably high pitch.

Thanks for the info. Yes it plays a little higher indeed. I assume that it was probably a student-level instrument, but having in mind the fact they are no longer made since far back, and its condition, I guess that it has some collectors' value.
