 2 second bboard question
Author: WhitePlainsDave

How, for example, could you write a post that included the word "toast" between square brackets (it's a hypothetical example) and not have the icon for two smiley faces toasting one another appear?

Rephrase in "techese," is there an escape character on phorum (the software running the show here) for the square bracket?

Thanks.

Leave a space after the bracket.

I wonder how many people are now staring at their screens debating whether or not to attempt the aforementioned example or wait until someone else does....

pacherry: One could test any effect, such as [ toast] (with no leading space), without having to post it to members, by pressing the Preview key.
