Please recommend tuner and metronome (and combination) apps for the iPhone. Which ones are the most flexible and intuitive to use?

I use "Tonal Energy." It has a tuner which can tune to any pitch standard and just/equal temperaments, a tone generator, audio analysis, and a fairly good metronome. It also doesn't "lag" the way I've seen some tuner apps do. Usually I use a separate metronome app which is simply called "Tempo."

Practice+ is my favorite metronome and has the best tuner of any of the "combo" apps.

I use:
Cleartune
Cleartune - top five tuner apps Cleartune (iOS – $3.99; Android – $3.99) is a simple and easy-to-use tuner and tone generator with a nice big display that is easy to read from a distance (even on your phone). It also offers a variety of pitch and temperament settings – with custom presets – which can be handy for those who frequently have to switch between modern and baroque instruments, for instance.

I use:
Tempo/Tempo Advance
Tempo advanceTempo (iOS – $1.99 & Android – $.99) and its more full-featured sibling Tempo Advance (iOS only – $2.99) is another popular metronome app. Offers the usual range of features, from a variety of time signatures and compound meters to saving of custom rhythm presents and the ability to keep the metronome going even when your device is locked or running another app. The Advance version adds additional customization options and nice little touches like the ability to control the volume of the app independently of the phone’s volume.

I second CLEARTUNE for tuning and TEMPO for metronome. To me, a tuner is a tuner, so there's not many bells and whistles needed, but TEMPO offers a lot. Dr. Beat-like customization. And you can program an entire song (handy for something I'm working on right now that constantly switches meters)
